🖤 Tattoo Aftercare Instructions
✨ Immediate Aftercare (First Few Days)
1. Leave the Saniderm Bandage On
Your artist has applied Saniderm (or a similar second-skin bandage) to protect your fresh tattoo.
Do not remove or tamper with it for the first 24 to 72 hours, as directed by your artist.
During this time, you may notice ink, plasma, or fluid buildup under the bandage. This is normal.
🚿 How to Safely Remove Saniderm:
When Ready (after 1–3 days):
Wash your hands thoroughly.
Peel a corner gently and slowly stretch the bandage back over itself (flat against the skin), not upwards.
Do this in a warm shower—let the warm water run over the area to help loosen the adhesive.
If it’s resistant, apply a little gentle, unscented soap and warm water to aid removal.
Once removed, wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and fragrance-free, mild soap (Dial unscented).
Pat the area dry with a clean, soft towel or paper towel—do not rub.
🌱 Daily Tattoo Care (First 2–3 Weeks)
1. Apply Only the Artist-Prescribed Aftercare Cream
Use only the aftercare product provided or recommended by your tattoo artist (e.g., Hustle Butter, Aquaphor, or a specific healing balm).
Do not substitute with over-the-counter lotions or creams unless approved by your artist.
Apply a very thin layer 2–3 times a day.
Do not over-moisturize—let the tattoo breathe.
2. Cleaning Routine
Wash the tattoo gently once or twice daily using:
Lukewarm water
Mild, unscented soap
Pat dry and reapply the prescribed cream.
⚠️ What to Avoid:
🚫 No Submerging in Water
Avoid baths, pools, hot tubs, oceans, lakes, or any standing water for at least 2–3 weeks.
Showering is fine, but avoid direct, high-pressure spray on the tattoo.
🚫 Avoid Heat & Sweat
No saunas, steam rooms, or excessive sweating (e.g., intense workouts) for the first couple of weeks.
Heat and sweat can irritate your tattoo and increase the risk of infection.
🚫 No Scratching or Picking
Expect some itching and peeling around days 3–7.
Do not scratch, rub, or pick at scabs or peeling skin.
Let all peeling occur naturally to avoid damaging the ink.
🚫 No Sunscreen During Healing
Do not apply sunscreen until your tattoo is fully healed (usually 2–4 weeks).
Sunscreen ingredients can irritate or delay healing of open skin.

✅ Protect Your Ink with Sunscreen
Once healed, invest in a high-SPF sunscreen (SPF 50+).
Always apply it before sun exposure to prevent fading and damage.
Use tattoo-specific sunscreens when possible for extra protection.
🧼 Signs of Trouble
Contact your tattoo artist or a medical professional if you notice:
Excessive redness or swelling after 4–5 days
Oozing pus or foul smell
Blistering or hard, raised skin
Fever or chills (potential sign of infection)

Wear loose, breathable clothing to avoid friction on your tattoo.
Stay hydrated and maintain good nutrition to support skin healing.
Follow your artist’s specific advice—they know the details of your tattoo and your skin.

Appointments:
We highly recommend booking at least 72 hours in advance to secure your preferred artist, date, and time — especially during weekends and peak times. As a trusted tattoo destination near Summerlin, Henderson, and the greater Las Vegas area, our availability fills quickly.
💰 Deposits:
A non-refundable $150 deposit is required to confirm all appointments. This deposit: Applies toward your final session cost Secures your artist’s time Covers the creation of your one-of-a-kind custom tattoo design.

🔁 Rescheduling & Cancellations:
If you need to reschedule: Contact us or your artist or the studio at least 24 hours in advance Your deposit will transfer to the new date Cancellations or no-shows without proper notice will result in a forfeited deposit
🚶 Walk-Ins:
Walk-ins are welcome when available, but booked appointments are always prioritized. We welcome clients from Spring Valley, Blue Diamond, and the surrounding Las Vegas neighborhoods — feel free to stop by, but we recommend calling ahead.
